Who would have thought that such a little piece of paper has been saving the lives of RAF servicemen from 1920s until the present day? 

A Goolie Chit, so called because it protected an #airman’s most personal items, was a message of vital importance written in many languages which promised a reward for anyone who aided an airman trapped behind enemy lines.
