Visitor Centre
The glass fronted Visitor Centre is the welcome point at the start of your visit. Here, our team of staff are available at the Admissions Desk if you have any questions. You can purchase a souvenir guide book for your visit at £5.00.
Parking
There are a number of car parks on site with ample spaces. Parking for Blue Badge holders and families is available on Car Park 1 on arrival. Charges apply for parking – click here for details.
Picnic Areas
Purchase your lunch in the Airfield Kitchen or bring your own food and eat outside in the spacious grounds.
Accessibility
The site is fully accessible to wheelchair users, and has a Changing Places Toilet located in our Visitor Centre. Our staff are happy to help any visitor wherever possible. An access statement is also available here.
Animals, other than Assistance Dogs accompanying their owners, are not allowed inside any building. Please be aware that there is no parking with shade on a hot day.
Baby Changing
Baby changing facilities are available for visitors with younger children in the Visitor Centre and hangars.

We have a range of interactive exhibits designed to excite and inform young minds.
Shop
Don’t forget to visit the Gift Shop at the exit of the National Cold War Exhibition, where you will find a wide selection of gifts and souvenirs to suit all budgets. You can also shop online from home.
Flight Simulator, 4D Experience and Virtual Reality Zone
Come and try our 4D Experience, our Black Hawk simulator and our Virtual Reality Zone in the Test Flight hangar (charges apply).
