Absolutely brilliant. Free entry, car park £5 for 3 hours, so much to do and see. The museum was awesome. We took some children on a day out here and they haven’t stopped talking about it, and we only saw one hangar!

Discover our Falklands 40 story

40 years ago, in 1982, Argentina seized control of the Falkland Islands, a British territory in the south Atlantic Ocean. The RAF was mobilised as part of the UK’s efforts to liberate the Islands.

The Chinook ‘Bravo November’ played a vital role in British military operations during the Falklands campaign. The achievements of that sole Chinook helped cement the Chinook’s reputation. Ever since, the Chinook has always been a first-choice aircraft whenever the British armed forces have been called upon.

This Easter, come with your family and explore the interior of a Chinook in London, take part in a digital trail, see an Avro Vulcan B2 together with other Falklands artefacts including the nose of a Victor K2 and an RAF Chapel used by service personnel stationed at Port Stanley.
