A vehicle with 10+ seats is deemed to be a coach. Any vehicle with fewer than 10 seats must pay the standard parking tariff.

Charges apply as above to Blue Badge Holders and visitors arriving on motorbikes.

The Barnet Food Festival 2026

The Royal Air Force Museum London will be holding the Barnet Food Festival on 12 and 13 September 2026. Admission to our London site will be by Food Festival Ticket only. Please do not travel to us on these dates unless you have a valid Food Festival Ticket. Thank you in advance for your co-operation in this matter.

Parking FAQs

Can I use the Museum car park when doing the school run?

Yes, there is a 30-minute grace period during which visitors can park for free. This is designed to allow taxis and cars to drop off and pick up visitors without charge.

After 30 minutes, a minimum charge of 3 hours will apply

What if I forget to pay?

If you forget to pay before leaving our site, don’t worry.

You can download the Trust app to your smartphone. This will allow you to pay any outstanding charges.

The app is available for both iPhone and Android devices.

Can I pay to extend my stay in the car park?

Yes. Please ask for assistance at the shop till in Hangar 1.
