Hendon Kitchen
Hendon Kitchen is a light and bright family-friendly café serving a hearty canteen style menu from quality British ingredients.
From light snacks, lunches and cakes to fine teas and freshly ground coffee, Hendon Kitchen is the perfect place to relax and refuel.
The café is counter service with reservations available for groups of 10 or more only.
We are open weekdays from 10.00am – 5.00pm and weekends and school holidays from 11.00am - 4.00pm.
Find us between the Museum’s First World War in the Air Exhibition in Hangar 2 and the RAF in An Age of Uncertainty exhibition in Hangar 6.
We can also host private lunches and kid’s parties in our 601 Squadron Room for up to 40 people. Please email us for more information.

The Sunderland Café
Open Weekends and Holidays only
A place to pick up a cappuccino and light snack before exploring the museum. Find us through our Main Entrance and turn left, the Café is directly opposite the Sunderland Flying Boat.
Open throughout the day the Café has seating for 30 guests.
Open from 10:00am – 5:00pm (Takeaway Service Only) on weekends and bank holidays.
