LEGO Spitfire Big-Build
The RAF Museum is undertaking the mighty task of creating a 1:4 LEGO model of the Second World War’s most iconic aircraft. This is of course, the iconic Supermarine Spitfire.
An ambitious task for sure but we are confident it can be done. However, we are going to need the help from hundreds of little (and not so little) engineers if this mighty feat is to be achieved.
Participants will use the LEGO provided to construct larger bricks which over the two day workshop, an experienced LEGO big-builder will use them to build the model. Check out the snowman, train and even a spooky pumpkin from their previous big-builds below!
We are certain that our Spitfire is going to be even cooler than those designs. When the model complete it is sure to be a star attraction on display throughout the D-Day Weekend.
- Location: H5, behind the Lancaster Bomber
- Date: Thursday 29th & Friday 30th of May
- Timings: All Day 10:00am to 4:00pm
