2025 marks the 81st Anniversary of the Normandy landings on 6 June 1944, also known as D-Day. At the RAF Museum London, we will be marking the anniversary with a weekend long celebration of FREE music, dancing, children’s activities and much, much more!
Musical Programme
Join us on Saturday 31st May and Sunday 1st June to kick off your summer with a fun musical programme at the museum!
The line up features returning favourites The Barn-ettes, Kitty Mazinsky, and the London Youth Concert Band, as well as new performers to the museum, Sean & Guy and many more!

Swing Dancing Workshops!
Swing Dance UK are back this D-Day weekend to show you how to boogie-woogie like they did in the 1940s! This is a FREE drop-in activity so come on down and try your hand at some twists and twirls!

The Joystick Club’s Pedal Planes!
The Joystick Club are back with their pedal planes for D-Day weekend! Pedal around our Sunderland in one of 6 different pedal planes including a Spitfire, Hurricane, Typhoon, and many more!

Interactive Lancaster Talks with Up an at ‘Em History!
Come on over to the Lancaster in Hangar 5 to join our reenactors as they take you through the stories of their adventures! Interactive talks will be taking place all weekend. Join us to learn all about how aircraft fought in the Second World War!

The D-Day Weekend’s activities are aimed at children 3 to 12 but aviators of any age are more than welcome to attend!
