Airfield Kitchen is open every day from 10:00am – 4.30pm located in the Visitor Centre for all visitors looking to dine in and takeaway.

Open for breakfast from 10:00am with a full barista quality coffee offer and hot breakfast menu along with a selection of breakfast pastries from the bakery counter. Our homemade bakery is available all day with deals to suit include the Airfield Cream Tea.

Lunch is served 11.30am – 3:00pm and the menu includes a selection of burgers, pizza and toasted sandwiches including vegan and vegetarian options too.

Our Cadet’s Menu is also available with balanced and nutritional meals, along side the Cadet’s 5 item packed lunch.

The ‘grab & go’ fridges are full of our range of sandwiches, wraps and ciabattas, which only use the highest quality seasonal ingredients. Our drinks range includes bottled water, coca cola drinks and a range of premium canned drinks suitable for both adults and children.

Time2Eat

Visitors are now encouraged to order at table using the Time2Eat web ordering to speed up their lunch experience and spend more time exploring the museum hangars and aircraft.

Also available for visitors is the new ‘click & collect’ feature for visitors who want to beat the queue and order ahead.

The Checkpoint - Opening February 2024

The Checkpoint will be open from 1 February proudly serving Costa Coffee, located on the lower level of the National Cold War Exhibition, just before the Berlin Wall interactive display.

The Checkpoint is open weekends and term-time from 10.00am – 3.30pm serving Costa Coffee, sandwiches, cakes, and soft drinks.
