FAQ’s

Do I pay for parking?

Yes, please pre-book (£6.50) or pay on the day for parking (£7.50).

Do I need to pre-book my general admission space?

Yes, please pre-book your general admission alongside your event ticket.

What time should I arrive at the museum for Flying Theatre?

You will need to arrive at the museum at least 20 minutes prior to the start time of the show. This is to ensure you have enough time to park, check in at the visitor’s centre and make your way to Hangar 1 where Bravo, Bravo! Is located. Our team will be able to direct you once you arrive at the Visitors Centre. Unfortunately, due to safety reasons no late comers will be accepted. Please leave plenty of time when visiting.

Can I buy tickets on the day?

This will depend on the availability for each show, pre-booking is the only way to guarantee a place.

What is the age recommendation for this event?

We recommend Flying Theatre: Bravo, Bravo! for those aged 6 and over and children will require adult supervision throughout the show. The show has been created with family audiences in mind and will appeal to a wide age range, including adults.

I am an adult accompanying a child, do I need to book a ticket?

Yes, all people requiring a seat will need to purchase a ticket. Look at our family tickets for best value.

I am a carer accompanying someone requiring a disabled access seat, do I need to book a ticket?

Yes you will need to book a ticket but carer tickets are free, please contact whatsonmidlands@rafmuseum.org for the discount code to book a carer ticket.

Location of event

Flying Theatre: Bravo, Bravo! is in Hangar 1. You will need to check in at the Visitor Centre first, so please allow at least 20 minutes before the show start time.

How accessible are your events?

The Museum’s facilities are fully accessible. Our outside areas are a mixture of tarmac and grass. Whilst we make every effort to make our site accessible, due to the nature of the site and depending on the weather and ground conditions, some areas may not be suitable for customers with restricted mobility. If you have any special requirements or questions, please get in touch via whatsonmidlands@rafmuseum.org

How and when will I receive my tickets?

You will not receive a physical ticket. You will be emailed an order confirmation that will include your unique booking reference number and a barcode that also contains this number. We suggest that you download your order confirmation to your smartphone ready to be shown to the team on arrival. Alternatively, you may print the confirmation with the barcode or make a note of your booking reference number.

Will I be refunded if the event is cancelled or postponed?

If the event is cancelled by the RAF Museum Midlands, we will attempt to reschedule where possible. If the RAF Museum is unable to offer an alternative date or the proposed new date is unacceptable, a refund will be issued within 30 days.

If I cannot attend, can I give my ticket to a family member or a friend?

Yes, if you are unable to attend an event feel free to pass on your ticket.

Can I bring a dog?
