Be the Pilot this October half term at the RAF Museum Midlands! In our dedicated Flight Zone visitors can experience flying with the Red Arrows in the amazing 4D Theatre, complete with dynamic seat movements, water spray and smoke effects!
Or, step inside the Virtual Reality Zone and enjoy a Spitfire 360° virtual reality experience, and get a feel for what it’s like to fly in one of the most iconic cockpits in history through your VR goggles.
The Typhoon Simulator is perfect for thrill-seeking visitors of all ages, experience all the thrills and exhilaration of flying over the beautiful Lake District in a RAF Eurofighter Typhoon.
Whether it’s exploring huge hangars packed full of iconic aircraft, becoming a pilot for the day in the aviation-themed playground, or taking-off on a thrill-seeking flight simulator ride, the Museum offers an amazing day out for the whole family.
Take a seat inside two of our Cold War fighter jets this half term week. We will be opening the Hawker Hunter F Mk.4 and the McDonnell Douglas Phantom FG1 between 11.00am and 4.00pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Find them in the National Cold War Exhibition Hangar.
