Museum Seeks Bloggers In Residence
Published on: 13 December 2023
The Royal Air Force Museum Midlands is looking to collaborate with bloggers across the Midlands region as we gear up to our biggest ever redevelopment.
The RAF Museum’s Midlands Development Programme comprises a major regional engagement programme supported by a new collections hub, learning centre, contemporary exhibition and co-curated interpretive interventions across the site.
As part of the programme, the Museum is looking for Bloggers-in-residence from across the Midlands region to create content (text, images, and video) and share stories from in and around the Museum through our digital channels.
Bloggers can be from anywhere across the Midlands region and do not have to be already established, as the Museum would like to support new and unheard voices.
The lucky bloggers will also be invited to visit the Museum across key dates including the VIP opening. They will have full access to the teams behind new developments and take a behind the scenes look at amongst other things, exhibition development, installation, aircraft suspension and exhibition build.
All our Bloggers will be on a volunteer basis and have travel and food expenses reimbursed and receive a 25% discount in our gift shop. For full details and to be considered for this exciting part of the Museum’s history, please email ajay@rafmuseum.org
The RAF Museum Midlands Development Programme is being made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we are able to progress our plans for this project.
