Personnel from 617 Squadron, RAF Marham, deployed on board HMS Queen Elizabeth for a number of days in July 2023 for the Aviation Integration Period, in preparation for the Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 2023 Deployment. RAF Marham is the home of the F-35B Lightning, a 5th Generation, multi-role, stealth fighter. Hosted at the Royal Air Force Museum, London, this two-day conference will explore new and exciting updates in Air Power research. This conference will be interdisciplinary and will host scholars working on topics that relate to air forces, their personnel and technologies, the economies and societies with which they interact, the conflicts in which they have engaged, and the global and international context with which they are connected.

A Call for Papers will be released shortly, with tickets going on sale over the course of the summer.

If you have any questions, or wish to discuss the conference, please email the RAF Museum’s Historian and Academic Access Manager Dr Megan Kelleher via megan.kelleher@rafmuseum.org.
