Over the coming weeks we’ll be doing works on site to prepare for the new Bomber Command exhibition scheduled to open in May 2023.
While we are refurbishing the hangars and moving aircraft and exhibits around, some parts of the Museum will be closed.
From Monday 27 February – Monday 6 March both Hangar 2 (Test Flight) and Hangar 3 (War in the Air) will be closed to the public.
From Monday 6 March – 17 March Hangar 3 (War in the Air) will be closed to the public.
However throughout this period our National Cold War Exhibition and Hangar 1 (including our Falklands display) will remain open.
We apologise for any disruptions to your visit but we’ll keep you up to date on the details of the closures.
